    Hi All,

Everything is working fine on my OMV install, but recently I went to give a user privileges to an existing share (so they can see the contents via FTP) and it comes back with an error of:

    Source Code

    1. Failed to execute command 'export PATH=/bin:/sbin:/usr/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/local/sbin; export LANG=C; systemctl restart 'sharedfolders-OMV\x2dSYS\x2dBackup.mount' 2>&1' with exit code '1': Assertion failed on job for sharedfolders-OMV\x2dSYS\x2dBackup.mount.
The same error happens when trying to create a new share and when attempting to change the privileges of any existing share...

I've search the forums for any existing issues like this but cant quite find any, especially any that reference sharedfolders-OMV\x2dSYS\x2dBackup.mount

Any ideas where I could start troubleshooting it?

Edit: I also can't delete any existing shares, same error.

    Thank you,
    Lindsay

    Hi Folks,

tried to update my OMV 4.1.13 but something is wrong:

when I did "apt update && apt upgrade && omv-update" it stopped with ...

    Source Code

    1. W: Target Sources (main/source/Sources) is configured multiple times in /etc/apt/sources.list.d/jcfp-sab-addons-jessie.list:2 and /etc/apt/sources.list.d/jcfp-sab-addons-jessie.list:4

    nano'd the file, commented the multiple entries. Now it breaks with;

    Source Code

    1. E: The repository 'file:/var/cache/openmediavault/archives Release' does not have a Release file.
    2. N: Updating from such a repository can't be done securely, and is therefore disabled by default.
    3. N: See apt-secure(8) manpage for repository creation and user configuration details.

    What to do?

    I run Sabnzbd with Docker.
    All work nice.
But I see we can test System performance (Pystone) and Download folder speed / Complete folder speed.

I have 50 MB result for Download folder speed / Complete folder speed.

it is a very low result compared to the speed of my raid. The folder is on my raid.

    It's not a problem because I don't have the fiber, just a poor 100Mb LTE connexion :)

i have low cpu athlon X2 250 perhaps the result of the download folder speed take care of the cpu ?

If you have some information about that I will read with pleasure. i'm a docker newbie !

    Hello,

Before i used script to backup my OMV using DD command.
Here my commande used via my script :

    Backup backupcopy :
    dd if=/dev/sdb of=/mnt/backupcopy.iso bs=4MB
    REstore backupcopy
    dd if=/mnt/backupcopy.iso of=/dev/sdc bs=4MB

    It was very simple.

    I test the plugin openmediavault-backup.

Here configuration of the plugin :
    - Method : DD
    - Root device : /dev/sdb

The command execution is successfull and create multple files : .gz ; .blkid ; .fdisk ; .grub ; .package ; .grubparts
The file .gz containt my dd file.
When i restore the file with my command (dd if=/mnt/xxxx.dd of=/dev/sdc bs=4MB), i dont find any partition on my usb key.

Can yu explain me how to restore with this plugin and multiple files are created when the plugin use DD command.

    Thx a lot

I installed nextcloud following the fantastic TechnoDadLife videos (thanks!) and it works perfectly. After that I followed his other video to, thanks to letsencrypt, be able to access safely from the outside.
The problem I have now is that I can access from the outside, but not from the internal network, automatically redirects me to the subdomain of duckdns.org and not to the internal ip.
Any clue where the problem may be or how to solve it?
    Thanks.

Sorry for the delayed response. Really there's no accounting for sync times on large drives in even larger arrays. There are too many factors involved (drive types, controllers, the type of array, etc). What did you do? How did it come out (or) how…
