Hm, maybe a Bug in TVH 4.x ? Did you had a look in TVH-Log while Timeshifting? Is there a folder "buffer" in the folder you set up for timeshift? Is TVH writing in this folder while you're watching TV?

Thats weird... My settings: Enabled [X] On Demand [ ] Storage Path: /home/hts/timeshift (On SSD) Max Period: 0 | unlimited time [x] Max Size (MB): 20000 | unlimited size [ ] Max RAM Size (MB): 0 | Use only RAM [ ] Works great! Sorry, I have no more ideas at the moment. How did you install V 4.0.5 ? I'm interested in testing

I can remember that I had similar problems as I started with PVR and Live-TV, but sadly I dont remember when and why it runs flawlessly. What are your settings for timeshift? On what folder? What disk? (HDD or SSD?) I'm using the System-SSD for buffering Timeshift. Is "On-Demand" enabled? (disabled is much better).

It's OpenELEC 5.0.8, I think that has to be Kodi 14.2 What do you mean with PVR-HTS ? I'm using the TVHeadend-Client which is integrated in OpenELEC. TVHeadend on my Server is V 3.9.2827

I'm using Kodi too! OpenELEC only (1x RasPi1, 1x Raspi2, 1x HTPC Intel J1900) But, to be honest, never tried Timeshift on RasPis, I'm using Timeshift on HTPC only (Living Room).

You could have a look at your complete syslog and check all Events at the Time when the system starts (and hangs). I revealed my swap-problem this way...

If the swap causes the error it will show up in syslog. cat /var/log/syslog | grep swap But if you have the problem even when starting from S5-State I think it depends NOT on swap. Overseen that S5 Detail... Sry!

Check your swap-size. Had the same problems with WOL. swap has to be at least as big as your installed RAM. I would do a little bit more. (I have 4GB RAM and 16GB swap, but 6GB would be enough. Depends on how much GB you can miss on System-Disk.)

Something new: I've assembled a new OMV-System yesterday. Now it's an Intel Celeron (G1840) System on a Gigabyte-Mainboard. CPU-Temp works fine, but Mainboard-Temp isn't shown up. (Got just the sad grey smileys). And another question: In BIOS I can see CPU- and Sys-Fan-Speeds. But sensors isn't recognizing Fan-Speeds. Sensors-detect is already done. (twice). Any suggestions how to get Fan-Speeds? Source Code (11 lines) My suggestion: Virtual-Device could be Mainboard-Temp, or the Physical id 0. …

Quote from tekkb: “You upgraded too and there was a fix in Volker's code, I believe.” I*ve installed Debian/OMV completely new and upgraded immediately to the newest 2.1.1 before I login first time to WebGUI. Graphs were working for roundabout 15mins, after several reboots Graphs where missing. Then I fixed it like I quoted you. So there was no update in that time... Never mind, it's working!

Hello, today I've installed OMV completely new on a brandnew system. Gigabyte-Mainboard (Gigabyte GA-B85M-D2V) with an Intel Celeron G1840 CPU. Everything works fine as expected, but I have almost no graphs under Tab "Performance Statistics". The only Graph I have is HDD-Usage. The Graphics are completely there (I have NOT the sad grey Smileys) but totally empty with no data. Anyone an idea how to fix that? Restartet the whole System several times and tried to restart service "collectd" and "rrd…
