home directory with "//"

  • Hy

First, I would like to thank the authors of Openmediavault and all the contributors.
I installed recently (two weeks ago) Openmediavault on a PC with SSD + 2To HDD.
Everything is perfect, my system is up-to-date and in the beginning I have a very few needs : ssh, ftp, minimserver.

I have created with the web interface a home directory in /media/{id} and activated the home directory for the users.
(I noticed that installing jdownloader or pyload before produces an error since the system tried to move the jdownloader directory,
    so I removed this plugin).
If I create a user with the web interface the home directory specified in /etc/passwd is wrong :
    /media/7b0f28fe-f76b-4efb-bc61-76e1a925f936/home//og:/bin/bash
    instead of
    /media/7b0f28fe-f76b-4efb-bc61-76e1a925f936/home/og:/bin/bash

Perhaps I missed something in the configuration. It is not very important, since I changed by myself the /etc/passwd{-} files

    O.G.

Double slashes in Linux aren't a problem and nothing to worry about. If the program is producing an error, it is an issue with it.
