AFP Share not visible on the network

On the old fedyakin build running on HP microserver (headless). All was working fine.

One HDD needed upgrading as it getting full so I shutdown the server and pulled the drive.
copied the contents to a new bigger drive on another system (ubuntu) formatted as EXT4.

Plugged the new drive into the server. OMV was hung presumably because the the original drive was missing.
I plugged in a usb keyboard, and entered CTRL-D which continued the boot process.

I deleted all the shares related the removed drive (NFS and AFP).

Rebooted the server and it booted without intervention.

Created new shares for the new drive for NFS and AFP.

I can access the new NFS share but the new AFP share is not visible.
All other existing AFP shares (for the other 5 drives) are still fine.

I have checked and double checked the new drive share config in the gui and in the config.xml and looks identical to the other shares (in terms of permissions and settings). There are no AFP errors o the server.

Both Ubuntu client and Mac OS clients complain the new drive share does not exist.

What's wrong and how can I fix it (without reinstalling the whole server and all my various shares) ?

I already checked if AFP was enabled (it was). I disabled it and re-enabled but made no difference.
I even tried restarting netatalk service from the common-line.

Tried direction connection in Finder using afp://192.168.1.200/d0 but it comes back with:
"The share does not exist on the server. Please check the share name, and then try again.".

I disbled AFP again, added a new (different) share on the new drive, then enabled AFP. Again, the new share is not visible.
I created a new share on another drive and that was visible.

The problem is with the new drive.
I deleted all the shares on the new drive and started again by recreating them but it makes no difference.

There are no errors in /var/log/syslog.

I checked the default volumes file and all looks OK:

I tried running omv-mkconf netatalk but it made no difference.

Something is corrupt and I cannot seem to find out what.

NFS share on the new drive works fine. Just the AFP share is not working.

interesting that the new drive cb48ff4f-08f7-499f-b5ca-9713f8571f49 is different from the others.
is that the issue ?

Changed the owner and access rights and restarted the AFP service and now drive0 is visible.

Available only if you have omv-extras installed. Next to shared folders, does what the name says

I am on 0.4.38 and not sure OMV-Extras was available for that version.
Is there manual command-line util for 0.4.38 that does the same ?
