I can't mount my disks

  • I have 2 hdd's with I was able to mount before separably but not both. Now I can't mount any. Even though I can see them and reformatted them in parted live. I couldn't do it in omv because they were busy? This is the error of the first drive.

  • Ok doing that I could mount one of my 2 drives the one that still doesn't mount is connected with a e-sata to sata converter is that a problem?
also my external drive doesn't mount anymore either. Same error for both "Can't find it in fstab"

  • Delete this and reboot. What is the other UUID that is causing a problem? I see the one above.

    Code
    /dev/sda1 /media/usb0 auto rw,user,noauto 0 0
    /dev/sda2 /media/usb1 auto rw,user,noauto 0 0
    /dev/sda5 /media/usb2 auto rw,user,noauto 0 0

    /dev/sdb2 /media/usb4 auto rw,user,noauto 0 0
    /dev/sdb5 /media/usb5 auto rw,user,noauto 0 0
  • d2 is the second of my 4 2TB hdd's yes I didn't notice it at first but my external drive also doesn't want to mount like the others I also reformatted it in parted live .
The drives that are not mounting are "d5" and "parity" both 4TB drives I labeled them that way for my snapraid setup.

  • Does d5 show in the filesystem section and it is blank??? Did you format it? The parity drive and d5 where did you format them???

If those 2 have nothing on them I would wipe them and format again. Then try to mount.

  • The external drive is a just a cheap one with a hitachi hdd inside. It worked perfecly before because I used it to transfer my backup.
The other 2 are WD greens 4TB ones. one of them d4 was used a while as parity drive in my snapraid. But after I got the second one and tried to hook it up using e-sata to sata these problems arose.
I can see them all in the physical devices tab so it should work right?

  • It is weird you are having problems with 3 drives. I have to get lunch.. I have never seen this before. I am thinking there is something else going on. Maybe issue with your config.xml. Give me a df -h and I take a look a bit later.

  • Ofcourse I'm getting a random new problem that no one else has -_-
anyway here is the output of df -h
