apt-get update 404 errors

I'm getting this error message when trying to update OMV through the web interface. Unfortunately, I can't think of what triggered it.

I'm guessing sunet simply isn't mirroring what I need any more? How do I change to some other mirror?

Through trial and error, I've concluded that it's both the "wheezy/updates" ones (as opposed to "wheezy-updates"), that 404's. Both the binaries and the src. All the other ones are fine.

What's the difference between /updates and -updates? Are they both needed? I'm guessing /updates existed on the sunet server before it went down, but can I ignore it now?

-updates and /updates are correct. You shouldn't change them.

there is a utility called netselect-apt that can show the fastest server.

Change for the US server, then install the utility.

After you change you can install the utility and change the servers.

the security.debian repo doesn't have local mirrors with DNS, so don't change

Thank you for your help! I changed to security.debian.org for the /updates, and now everything works. Speed is not crucial, but thank you for the tip about netselect-apt. Will take a look at it!
