Errors installing zfs plugin

  • Hi, did new install of latest omv-amd64, and tried to follow steps in this post:

[HOWTO] Instal ZFS-Plugin & use ZFS on OMV

First try to install the zfs plugin gave this (toward end of lots of output):

update-rc.d: using dependency based boot sequencing
insserv: There is a loop between service umountfs and zfs-import if stopped
insserv: loop involving service zfs-import at depth 6
insserv: loop involving service zvol at depth 5
insserv: There is a loop between service umountfs and zfs-import if stopped
insserv: loop involving service umountfs at depth 5
insserv: loop involving service networking at depth 4
insserv: loop involving service umountroot at depth 7
insserv: exiting now without changing boot order!
update-rc.d: error: insserv rejected the script header
    dpkg: error processing openmediavault-zfs (--configure):
subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1
    Processing triggers for openmediavault ...
    Restarting engine daemon ...
    Errors were encountered while processing:
    openmediavault-zfs

Failed to execute command 'export LANG=C; export DEBIAN_FRONTEND=noninteractive; apt-get --yes --force-yes --fix-missing --allow-unauthenticated --reinstall install openmediavault-zfs 2>&1': Reading package lists...

Next I tried uninstall of the plugin, and Apt Clean button in Extras, reboot, and reinstall of the plugin.
    It gave this:

Maybe I should start over? Thanks for any input.

  • <p>Not sure how to do that. Following the referenced tutorial, I did &quot;Select zfs Testing repo&quot; and saw that this selected both the zfs and zfs Testing repos. How can I select specific package? THANKS.</p>
