[Solved] OMV GUI down

• [Solved] OMV GUI down

Dear all,

I have been running OMV on a Raspberry pi 2 for 6 months without any troubles.
Since 3 days I have a problem : accessing the GUI gives me :

403 Forbidden
nginx

My conf file :

Source Code

1. cat /etc/nginx/sites-available/openmediavault-webgui
2. server {
3. server_name openmediavault-webgui;
4. root /var/www/openmediavault;
5. index index.php;
6. autoindex off;
7. server_tokens off;
8. sendfile on;
9. large_client_header_buffers 4 32k;
10. client_max_body_size 25M;
11. error_log /var/log/nginx/openmediavault-webgui_error.log error;
12. access_log /var/log/nginx/openmediavault-webgui_access.log combined;
13. location /extjs/ {
14. alias /usr/share/javascript/extjs4/;
15. }
16. location /images/ {
17. alias /var/www/openmediavault/images/;
18. }
19. location ~ \.php$ {
20. try_files $uri = 404;
21. fastcgi_split_path_info ^(.+\.php)(/.+)$;
22. fastcgi_pass unix:/var/run/php5-fpm-openmediavault-webgui.sock;
23. fastcgi_index index.php;
24. fastcgi_read_timeout 60s;
25. include fastcgi_params;
26. }
27. listen [::]:81 default_server ipv6only=off;
28. include /etc/nginx/openmediavault-webgui.d/*.conf;
29. }
Display All

I have tried to :
• restart nginx
• restart openmediavault
• reboot the pi
No change.

Any idea folks ?
Many thanks!

• Hi mate,

dpkg -l | grep openmediavault
rc openmediavault 1.19 all Open network attached storage solution
rc openmediavault-clamav 1.3 all OpenMediaVault ClamAV plugin
ii openmediavault-keyring 0.3 all GnuPG archive keys of the OpenMediaVault archive
rc openmediavault-usbbackup 1.4 all OpenMediaVault USB/eSATA backup plugin
• The OMV package is effectively uninstalled. I am betting you upgraded to Jessie. Read this thread. If the output of cat /etc/debian_version is 8.0 or higher, you are on jessie and will have to reinstall.

• Try this:
apt-get update
apt-get -f install

If that doesn't work:
apt-get install openmediavault

• Bad update. Hard to say. You don't have the flashmemory plugin installed either. So, your SD card could be starting to fail as well.
