CACTI + OMV

  • Hello guys,

    I don't know if you know CACTI:

    http://www.cacti.net/download_cacti.php

    I would like to install it on my server for monitoring purposes. I'm reading on the site: "Cacti requires MySQL, PHP, RRDTool, net-snmp, and a webserver that supports PHP such as Apache or IIS"
    Before doing something that could break my NAS, I wanted to have your advice.

    Can I install this package?

    I think it works on port 80...

    Thank you in advance.

    It should work on omv. There is a cacti package in wheezy. OMV uses nginx and php. There are nginx and mysql plugins. I would try it in a VM first. You may have to change OMV's port as well.

    omv 7.0.5-1 sandworm | 64 bit | 6.8 proxmox kernel

    plugins :: omvextrasorg 7.0 | kvm 7.0.13 | compose 7.1.4 | k8s 7.1.0-3 | cputemp 7.0.1 | mergerfs 7.0.4

    omv-extras.org plugins source code and issue tracker - github - changelogs

    Please try ctrl-shift-R and read this before posting a question.

    Please put your OMV system details in your signature.
    Please don't PM for support... Too many PMs!
