You sudo su'd in from that directory. Exit back out and sudo in from a different directory. What is the output of: ps aux | grep plex

Good.

Wiped.
Now creating array (slowwwwly)...
mirror is raid 1 right? ;-P

Yep. That will take a while. I may not be home for a few hours when it is done but I don't think you will have to deviate from your steps you wrote. Otherwise, just wait a bit

Still at 70% ...
Question: When the Raid 1 will be up, if I have one disk failure, Do I just have to remove the disk, insert a new one and press "recover" ?
Is it transparent like a synology? Do I receive a mail in this case?
-
Ideally, if you have a drive failure, you shutdown the system and put the new drive. When you boot again, it should see the new drive and use it. Doesn't always happen so using the recover button should work. No idea how synology works. I think you get an email if notifications are enabled.

Hello!
Finished and everything working fine. Thanks @ryecoaaron .
I have just a little issue with samba using mac osx. I'll post the issue in a separated thread

just an observation here,I am not sure when SnapRaid and MergeFs become available for OMV, but in case they were therer aat the time of OP, but wouldn't be simpler to use SnapRaid
in RAID-1 mode? you can also use MergeFS to pool the disks into single volume if desired.do I understand correctly you had (2) primary 3TO WD RED , one the actual drive and one as a backup. adding a third disk for parity and slapping a snapraid on them would have been much easier.if data does not change very often it would be perfect. you have protection for both drives
