    • Grub rescue: out of disk

I'm getting grub rescue > out of disk after installation. My steps:

      * Install openmediavault via a USB drive to /dev/sdb (which is a USB drive)
      * get error that grub couldn't install to /dev/sda
      * follow the steps on the install wiki for this error.
      * reboot, but my bios doesn't detect the drive as bootable
      * use boot repair disk to fix the problem
      * reboot and get the out of disk error

      Boot summary:
      paste.ubuntu.com/15160326/
    • Did you pull the usb drive before you installed grub?

      Greetings
      David

Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.
