Somehow a recursive 777 was done on the database. It expects certain perms to be able to run properly. It would take a long time and effort to try and fix. You need to uninstall the plugin and reinstall.

How would I upload my database backup to plex after the re-install?
I currently have backups in /media/d768c3dc-5e1f-d101-c040-c2dc5e1fd101/Backup/Plex Database -
I never do it that way. I backup the whole plexmediaserver directory and just replace the directory. I would ask on plex forums how to do this if it is important for you.

Try this in command line .....
apt-get purge openmediavault-plexmediaserver
Then try to install again.

Awe man, this rabbit hole is getting a little too deep for me. I'm going to bed and will pick this back up in the morning.
Maybe I should just go ahead and install version 3? -

I think so too @tekkb. Everything was running smooth, it wasn't until Plexpy came into play.
Anyway, I've gotten plex reinstalled this morning and it seems to be working okay other than some metadata issues that i'm going to have to tackle some other time.
Time doesn't make itself very available these days.Thank you for the help, as always, you guys are awesome.
