No Gui SSH or PING but working network

    Ssh starts but an attempt to connect from my linux laptop still times out after waiting a long time.

    Good news - Your system is working fine.
    Bad news - you have an issue with your network.

    Thanks for all your help. I can ssh in from my phone I discover but not my linux laptop I will investigate further.
    I had reset router so problem probably not there.
    I now need to investigate and/or go elsewhere.
