Hello everybody,
I saw several discussions about TVHeadend and "Plugin Wishlist".
Anyway, I want to start this new thread because I think there are a few good points why TVH should be a real plugin:
* Use the existing access Levels / privileges, shares and share mechanism from OMV for config, recordings and timeshift
* Use the existing OMV users for TVH
* Implement wake up for recording and EPG grabing
* Implement sleep if idle
* Installing, basic configuration, backup config via WebGUI for not-so-advanced users
I tried docker and failed, then i added TVH via custom repo in OMV extras and it works.
But it does not feel like a part of OMV, always as an alien part which need very special attention and may fail on updates or unlucky config.
Anyone out there with thoughts about that?
