OMV NAS cant resolve URLs

Hi,

I took my NAS (OMV 2.2.1) from my parents house to my flat. Local communication works fine but my the system can't find any updates. So I tried to ping google.com via SSH and got the answer "unknown host google.com",
if I enter any IP-Adress like "172.217.20.67" I get an immediate response, so I guess the system can't resolve any URLs right now. I already tried to reset my networksettings via "omv-firstaid" but nothing has changed.

Currently I'm using DHCP from my router so no static Ip is set, Subnetmask, Gateway and DNS-Server are also blank. I also tried 198.101.242.72 as DNS with the same result.

I can't install any plugins right now, so it would be great if someone could help me

I've found the solution. Problem is that there is no /etc/resolv.conf. This is accomplished by executing

dpkg-reconfigure --frontend=noninteractive resolvconf

as indicated in [RESOLVE] DNS out

I think this configuration should be part of the OVM installation script. My initial configuration was fine.

I don't know why that resolv.conf-file went missing. But now everything is back to normal.

I've removed all entries. DNS and search are using default-values now. Works fine.
