Plex broke after most recent update! (update manager)

    I thought I would start a new thread as it is somewhat important! After I ran the latest update for Plex from Update manager my Plex is no longer working. Errors when trying to enable/stop service. I am not a Linux expert so im hoping for some help on where to begin to revert to previous Plex or repair this latest update! I see others are having the same issue!

    Not sure why you started a new thread but I already updated the other thread. I uploaded the wrong package but it is fixed now.

    If you accidentally do this again (i.e. install an ubuntu version) here is a simple fix.


    cd /etc/init.d
    mv plexmediaserver.dpkg-bak plexmediaserver
    service plexmediaserver start
