OMV on Ubuntu

  • I have different problems that could be solved by installing openmediavault on Ubuntu. Can anyone help me to do that, indicandoi what dependencies to install and what dependencies to remove? With Debian I have no problems, but with Ubuntu I can't install openmediavault.

  • I never used my admin powers in gaming either. I guess I'm a minimalist. Usually only learn the bare minimum in things that don't really interest me. I am still learning a lot about Linux though. Almost every day I find new things to think about. But even there I go with what I find interesting. I wish there was a massively comprehensive book I could buy. The books I've bought I always find lacking. When you read about commands in books they never list all the options, or all the commands. I learn mostly from Google. Google is great but it does not seem like a fast orderly way of learning things. So many damned links I've accumulated. I know I am getting more advanced in the OS though.

I prefer books. I try to use Kindle reader but I don't like it.
