Attach NAS to OMV

    Hi,


    I have some old "high end hardware" that I wanted to turn into an OMV project.


    Its a G6 HP Opteron Server 2x 6Cores CPUs with 32GB RAM, 8x SAS 72GB SAS Drives. And then a 24TB Promise NAS Device.


    I managed to install OMV on the server without any real issues (Partitioned the SAS drives all into one drive for the OMV OS). Added the other network interfaces with a static IP on my NAS network subnet and I can ping my NAS.


    How do I attach the 16TB space to OMV ? (24TB Total Running 16TB Usable in RAID10 with 2 spares if I remember correctly)


    Appreciate any assistance I can get.

    Configure the NAS as NFS server or CIFS server with some shares, and use the remote share plugin and mount the NAS shares locally.
