Installing OMV 3.0.25 on a BananaPi

  • Hello!
Since I trashed my OMV 1.19 installation by upgrading it to 3.xx I decided to do a complete reinstall. I am using a BananaPI. First I unplugged all the HDDs, than I flashed Bananian 16.04 on the SD-card, it's a based on Debian 8/Jessie.
Than I tried to follow this tutorial but instead of intalling stoneburner I tried to install erasmus. I got stuck at the install openmediavault part though. ?(

No systemd? I tried to install it:

If I understand the problem correctly, Bananian doesn't come with systemd but with something else. No packages are being held btw. I could install systemd after I deleted the file /etc/apt/preferences.d/systemd. I found the tip for it here
Afterwards I could install OMV without a problem.

Maybe this helps fellow BananaPi user. If I did something horribly wrong please enlighten me :)
    Cheers plissk3n

Well if works for me right now. Should I switch to Armbian to avoid future problems? What's the difference between Armbian and Bananian? Aren't they both Debian derivates?
