I must not fear.
Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear.
I will permit it to pass over me and through me.
And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
Where the fear has gone there will be nothing.
Only I will remain.
Nothing. I never set quotas. I installed and set up Samba/CIFS shares. That's it. Oh, I did install the omv-extras package. Everything appeared to be fine until I hit 100GiB of data on my share. It threw errors of reaching the limit of my quota. I have 1.8TiB set for this share to store backups. Now that I have turned quotas off, I can access all I want. Do not know how it got turned on. I wasn't even aware quotas were there until this happened.
Are you able to say how Quotas are turned off, please? I never (knowingly) set them up, and I can't see anything under SMB/CIFS/Settings or SMB/CIFS/Shares (there is only one share) that talks of quotas.
