Moving OMV from USB stick to internal SSD

Hi

I recently started testing OMV and i was absolutly happy! i was a freenas 8 user before - but this is so much better in so many ways!!

I now want to move the installation from the test-usb-stick to a more serious 16gb ssd harddrive.

Since i didn't find any configuration exporter in OMV (or is there any and i missed it?) Do i have to redo a complete "new install" or can i simply copy/clone the usb stick to the ssd and change the boot order?

Any explanatione how to move a complete OMV installation?

No Problem at all. you can use dd to copy everything. The only requirement is that the new drive is at least as big as the old one.

Remember to upgrade kenel to atleast 2.6.33 because of TRIM
TRIM is supported from 2.6.33 and higher

Do you have any guides for upgrading the kernel? I tried, but ran into some errors (don't remember which). Thanks!
