[RESOLVED] Boot problems with sata disk. USB works

  • I have been happily running omv for a couple of weeks and recently upgrade my memory in N40L to 8gb.
Put things back together, but now i am having problems. At first the disks were not recognized in bios. Pulled out the battery and made some progress. Made some corrections in bios and i can see my 2,5 inch boot disk at port 5.
Somehow it still does not boot. Have changed cables, but still no boot.
Strange because i can see the disk in bios??
Have connected it to usb via sata/usb cable and now it boots??
I will try sata again to see if this works, but have doubt if it is save to change from usb to data?
I cannot imagine that the port 5 is broke, because i can see the disk in bios.

Can somebody help to solve this strange issue (for me)?

Could be it is a hardware problem. If somebody knows a good N40L forum pleas let me know

It would be interesting to see if it boots from the esata port on the back?
