Error when using update manager

  • Hi all,

I'm a fresh noobie when it comes to OMV and debian in general, but it's been working out for the most part. Still, please excuse my ignorance if I'm not the most savvy. I use the system mostly as a Plex Media Server.

My question just involves updating. For about the first 6 months of use, I would go into the GUI and update or simply do alt-get update and alt-get upgrade and everything worked fine. Approximately 2 months ago I started getting an error, and now things are no longer updating.

The error presents as follows when I try to check for upgrades:

Any help would be appreciated. Plugins I have installed are:

    • transmissionbt 1.4
    • unionfilesystems 2.3
    • omvextrasorg 2.13.2

    OMV version 2.2.5 (Stone Burner)

    Thanks very much

If you added the shell.ninthgate repo, remove it. Otherwise, disable the plex repo in omv-extras, dist-upgrade, and the re-enable the plex repo.

If you re-enable the omv-extras plex repo, you will get an updated plex package. I manually mirror the ninthgate repo (to allow for testing against OMV and the plugin). 1.0.3.2461 is in the omv-extras plex repo and the ninthgate repo. So, that will be as new as you can get right now.
