Plex problem...

Hi I have an Odroid XU4 with OMV running few months now, and I had Plex running.

I have updated to 2.2.6 OMV Stoneburner.

But It stopped working due to lack of compatibility with new Plex version and I tryed to remove and reinstall it again but I did something worng and now I get the following error and I am unable to reinstall it:

I have tryed:

apt-get purge openmediavault-plexmediaserver
apt-get purge plexmediaserver
usrdel plex

also removed some plex folder

but no succes...

Any suggestion?

Is missing a repo to fetch plexmediaserver. How does plex works in arm? Who provides the binaries (the plexmediaserver package) ?

In my odroid It can't transcode, but besides that OK.

I installed using the Extra Plugins repositories from OMV.

How can I restore the repo missing?

Then enabling the plex repo in omv-extras plugin should do it.

What does apt-cache policy plexmediaserver shows

I also tryed disabling and re enabling this repo, but I am affraid I destroyed the repos in some way I wasn't aware, cause I have no luck.

ok, give it a try....

apt-get install plexmediaserver from the timestamp in the repo is a very old version of plex (2015).

The package in the dev2day repo is no good. The package is only 948 bytes and hasn't been updated in a long time.

You can't install a Debian Jessie (8.x) package on OMV 2.x because it is Debian Wheezy (7.x).

Do you use other plugins besides plex?

I´m using OMV 3.x (newest version) with the current plex build without problems on my XU4

I am having an issue since 2.2.6 as well. The plugin appears to be working but when I try to use it or play any files it hangs up.

I wonder how many others are having issues with this after the update?

I tried installing v3 and same error when installing Plex.
