Upgrade Steps? Help needed --> System down :-(

Hi,

didn't touch my OMV installation and server for a long time.

Now i like to update OMV and Debian.

Currently running:

= OS/Debian information

Distributor ID: debian
Description: Debian GNU/Linux 7 (wheezy)
Release: 7.11
Codename: wheezy

= OpenMediaVault information
================================================================================
Release: 1.19
Codename: Kralizec

What are your recommendations on how to upgrade?

i.e. what to upgrade first?
which kind of backup shall i use?

.
.

Hi,

i made a mistake while trying to backup with clonezilla following this procedure:

Headless Backup of the System Drive with Clonezilla

At this step: "13) Now you will be presented with the root level of the data drive that was just mounted. You should see the "backups" folder listed. Select it and then press TAB to highlight OK and hit ENTER. (Pic7)" --> i did not see the "backups" folder and because of this thought i need to step into this directory and selected "/media/"....

But i guess this leads to the problem that Clonezilla won't work

Now i'm not sure how to proceed as i'm not familar with clonezilla.

Can somebody please help how to make a backup and/or what to do to get OMV working again?
