    • Mailcow and openmediavault on a single server possible?

      Hi,
I want to use OMV as the central infrastructure server for a small company. AFAIK OMV lacks a plugin for a communication/collaboration platform.
I've found mailcow, a mailserver suite project based on Dovecot, Postfix and other open source software, that provides a web UI for user/server administration. Openmediavault is providing nginx, clamav and a MySQL-Plugin, which is used by mailcow too.
      My question is:
Can mailcow-v0.14 and openmediavault-v3 coexist on a single server (with debian jessie)?
      Some experience somebody? Any caveats?
      Alternative?

    • I don't think so, mailcow will surely harm/overwrite the OMV postfix configuration. You should consider to use your setup in a VM on OMV.

I will permit it to pass over me and through me.
And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
Where the fear has gone there will be nothing.
      Only I will remain.
