Thanks. It's true that i don't use it for anything important but i like the graphs. I can keep en eye on my brother using my VPN and bandwidth from India. haha
I have a few issues going back to fake-hwclock.
get an error when i try to enable...
update-rc.d fake-hwclock enable
update-rc.d: error: cannot find a LSB script for fake-hwclock
also there are no files for fake-hwclock in either /etc/cron.hourly/ or /etc/init.d/fake-hwclock
going to stick with the RTC for now.

I have cracked the problem with RTC on OMV 3.
