I have the following hardware:
- GA-G31M-ES2L
- E5200
- 4gb RAM (800Mhz)
- 1000mbit ethernet (Asus AC-RT68U) cables are all Cat6
I'm having problem with 1080p always buffering after a few seconds, even if it plays the original format via a browser on a PC connected with ethernet in the same network, both Gigabit ethernet.
Shouldn't this be no problem at all? As it isn't doing any transcoding at all?
Yet I get buffering all the time.
If I select it to transcode I get the exact same problem.
I use the latest Plex available through OMV 1.0.15 (what's weird is that the version number when checking Plex server settings is 1.1.4.2757).
Any suggestions, I have posted on Plex forums too, but this seems more like something else, as the server with this connection should easily be able to send the video over.
The file I'm testing with has the following stats:
1080p.Blu-ray.H264, MKV, Bitrate 15390 kbps, 11,82gb
