DVBSKY S952 PCIe card

Hi guys

Just purchased the above card for my server build.

Is it actually possible to get it running on omv2? I've tried every guide i can find and cant get it to work.

I cant get the combo of divers/firmware working to get the card detected by tvheadend.

when i do ls /dev/dvb to check its all installed correctly it just says directory doesn't exist.

Any ideas?

tried a clean install with the same results.

I followed the instructions on the DVBSky webpage, ill try installing omv3 and trying it now

brilliant, installing omv3 on a test hdd, then installing the back ports kernel solved it.

Both tuners detected, just need to work out how to set them up with tvheadend now.
