Hi guys,

Anything else I could try?

Do you have the backports kernel installed?
No, I have not - should I install these?

Yes. There is a button to install the 4.8 kernel in omv-extras.
Okay, was not aware of this. Is there anything else that would improve after installing the backport kernel?

I would guess networking might be faster and power consumption (especially at idle) may drop.
Thanks. I have justinstalled it and tried a couple of times, reboot works perfectly via webgui, but shutdown seems to make still problems. Anything else I should/could try?
Try the command line command as omv executes it.
According to this
https://github.com/openmediava…ystem/powermanagement.inc
it should be
shutdown -h -P now
Just retried it again via the WebInterface - it seems like it performs just a reboot. Can anyone else confirm that this is a minor bug?

This could be a common bug, related to WOL and nic cards. Is mostly present in realtek cards. Try disabling WOL at BIOS level

I'd like to keep the WOL functionality for my NAS. I guess I will try to work a bit around with the autoshutdown plugin and see if this works and fits my purpose.
