Setting Quota for Time Machine Share not possible

    Hello,


    on my RAID I have a shared folder called "Backup", which is enabled for Time Machine support under the Share-tab of AFP. As soon as I enter any value (e.g. 716800) into the "Quota"-Field, my MacOS shows "0 Byte available" for this mounted folder. When entering the value "0" into the field, MacOS shows the whole remaining RAID-capacity of about 3.8TB.
    To prevent Time Machine from using all disc space, I would like to set a quota.

    strange this works ok in my system, i am using osx el capitan still in omv3 with netatalk3 and the size reported by finder changes accordingly to the setting.
    What version of omv are you using?

    Ok, sorry for this thread, I found my mistake... The given quota was below the actual size of used space in that folder.


    I am annoyed with myself as I did not think about that before...
