Plex server memory leak

    anybody ran into this, too?


    I have the latest version of OpenMediaVault and Plex running side by side. So far it was great and it works really great, but yesterday and today (even with the newest version of Plex) I have massive memory leaks so that plex uses up to 92% of my memory (6GB) and the systems crawls. It occurs without any reason and i have to stop and restart the Plex server to have a normal usage again (about 5% memory usage).


    Anybody know the cause for this or how to prevent this?

    Are you running OMV and MiniDLNA in a virtual machine?? We are aware of this issue in a virtual machine and cannot do anthing about it. It has to do with the transcoder Plex is using. You should not have any issues on a bare metal install though.
