Small office Windows admin trying to get off the M$ plantation.
Have set up OMV and things seem okay.
Current server files copied to usb3 hdd, ntfs.
Drive shows up and is mountable, but in File System tab shows as No under referenced. Empty target raid 1 drives show as Yes.
I made shares on usb, using same settings as shares on target drive I want to copy to, and both sets of shares are browseable.
When I access shares through Win 7 all folders show as empty.
I am able to copy from the usb (mounted on Win machine) over the network to the OMV, but would much prefer to let OMV machine
do the copy rather than copy a tb over the network.
I saw reference to something called ntfs-3g but have no idea if this relevant or from an older version.
My Google-fu is pretty good but I am stumped. Any suggestions?
