    • iScsi Plugin not working - not starting

Hi I have problem with iscsi plugin in web gui when I am trying start it I receiving fallowing:

      Source Code

      1. Failed to execute command 'export PATH=/bin:/sbin:/usr/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/local/sbin; export LANG=C; systemctl start iscsitarget 2>&1' with exit code '1': Job for iscsitarget.service failed because the control process exited with error code. See "systemctl status iscsitarget.service" and "journalctl -xe" for details.
any idea how can I fix it?
    • The iscsi module will not compile against newer 4.x kernels. You need to use the standard 3.16 kernel.

      echo 'OMV_APT_USE_KERNEL_BACKPORTS="NO"' >> /etc/default/openmediavault
      omv-mkconf apt
      apt-get update
      apt-get install linux-image-amd64=3.16+63
reboot and select the 3.16 kernel
      apt-get purge linux-image-4.9.0-0.bpo.1-amd64
      apt-get install openmediavault-iscsitarget
      omv 4.1.6 arrakis | 64 bit | 4.16 backports kernel | omvextrasorg 4.1.7

      Hi,
Is there How-To iSCSI plug-in? I followed above but can't add LUN, I have a blank SSD mounted (also umounted / shared and unshared) but the SSD doesn't show up in the Device drop down selection. How do I prepare for iSCSI drive LUN?

      Thanks
