I have the problem that my RasPi (running Volumio or Pi MusicBox) can't connect to my music stored on my OMV. Everything is connected via cables, i.e. no WiFi is used.
The setting:
- My music is on my OMV in a Samba shared folder called "Music" where user "Kodi" with password xxx has read-only access
- "Kodi" can find and read the music from Win10, Xubuntu 16.04 and Android
- My Pi running Kodi/LibreElec and/or RuneAudio can find and play "Music" (with user "Kodi" under "//IP-OMV/Music/")
- The same Pi running with Volumio and/or Pi MusicBox can not find "Music" (with user "Kodi" under "//IP-OMV/Music/") BUT is able to find and play a test Samba share on another Linux machine in the same network (with user "user" under "//IP-Linuxmachine/Shared_Folder/").
This really weird problem made me running out of ideas. How can I find out wether it's caused by OMV or Volumio/Pi MusicBox?
