I want to configure Rsync to automatically back up the contents of one of my hard drives to another hard drive automatically every 24 hours. I created a job last weekend that I set to run ever "0" hour, but it seems that it is not working automatically. I can only force it to run manually which I do not want to do.
Configuring Rsync

i've something similar but i've setted it to sync at 1 and it's working.
Maybe try with a diffferent time, like in 10 mins, apply changes carefully. -

Please check the auto-generated crontab entry for this job and compare it to https://debian-administration.…mand_scheduling_with_cron. OMV does not any magic when it generates the cron file.

I understand that OMV uses cron, but what I was unsure of when I was configuring Rsync was how to set the run times appropriately. I want to set it to run at midnight, so at first I set "Every N hour" to 0, but when I discovered it wasn't working, I changed it to one, but it seems like that made it run every hour, so I now I have it set to 23 hours.
