[SOLVED]Unofficial plugins list not available

  • Hi everybody,
i searched the forum for a solution of this problem, but i didn't find anything.
I installed a fresh OMV on a Hp Microserver N54L, hd installation. Everything works fine, except the unofficial plugins list.
OMv-plugins.org is correctly installed, selected the stable option, but in plugins list, also after a verify, i see only official plugins (lvm, route, etc), nothing else.
Plugins package version is last available from the site.
    Where i'm wrong??

    Thanks

I tried to reinstall the package, then looking at the plugins list before and after the upgrade, same result, no plugins, also selecting Donald and Glass.

Don't select Donald and Glass. Is there a reason you aren't updating the entire system? I would try that, reboot, clear your browser cache, and see if the list still is missing.

According to your output, you still have OMV 0.4.6 installed and 0.4.27 is out. Can you post your /etc/apt/sources.list and /etc/apt/sources.list.d/omv-plugins-org-fedaykin.list

There's the problem. Your setup is trying to find most of the packages from the install cd. Your /etc/apt/sources.list should look like this:

    Code
    deb http://debian.mirrors.tds.net/debian/ squeeze main
    deb-src http://debian.mirrors.tds.net/debian/ squeeze main

    deb http://security.debian.org/ squeeze/updates main non-free
    deb-src http://security.debian.org/ squeeze/updates main non-free

    deb http://debian.mirrors.tds.net/debian/ squeeze-updates main non-free
    deb-src http://debian.mirrors.tds.net/debian/ squeeze-updates main non-free

Your /etc/apt/sources.list.d/openmediavault.list should look like this as well:

    Code
    deb http://packages.openmediavault.org/public fedaykin main

    omv 7.0.4-2 sandworm | 64 bit | 6.5 proxmox kernel

    plugins :: omvextrasorg 7.0 | kvm 7.0.10 | compose 7.1.2 | k8s 7.0-6 | cputemp 7.0 | mergerfs 7.0.3

  • Thanks from me also ryecoaaron

Jumped on to say this fixed the same issue for me - I'm new to OMV (installed on an N54L a few days ago) and could not get any OMV-plugins.org plugins to show in the webGUI.

Updates have now downloaded properly after an apt-get update, am applying them via webGUI and anticipate plugins will display properly after this
