Avahi doesn't restart anymore

Good evening,

When I disable the FTP server (via FTP plugin) and I submit the changes, I get the error that avahi did not start correctly.

System.log reports the following:

Apr 14 18:32:45 omv systemd[1]: Failed to start Avahi mDNS/DNS-SD Stack.

Apr 14 18:32:45 omv systemd[1]: Unit avahi-daemon.service entered failed state.

If I rollback the changes, avahi starts correctly....

Very strange, I do not have a clue hot to solve this and I wonder why avahi may complain if I disable my FTP server.

Ok, just checked, this happens for every change I try to submit via GUI, not just FTP.

So, basically, I am stuck now

ok, I can now run avahi-demon via command line by adjusting rlimit-nproc to 6 in /etc/avahi/avahi-daemon.conf.

How can I keep the change consistent? OMV replaces it back to 2 every tine

ok, fixed, edit the /usr/share/openmediavault/mkconf/avahi-dameon and brought relimit-proct to 6
