    Anyone got any ideas i dont know what this update is for personally i usually just periodically check for updates and apply them all.

    Thanks in advance chris

    ps sorry dont know if this is the right section for this as its not a plugin but not a upgrade to a version release.

    OMV 5 - 64 bit
    Dell T430, 16gb Ram, 5 x 3TB HDD Raid5, 1 x 120GB 2.5" SSD (OS)

  • I seem to have the same update sitting in my OMV Update Management section as well. It has a size of 0.00B and I can't remove it from the list as it won't install. I have tried Apt Clean and Refresh and neither seem to work as the update is still sitting there.

    Any idea on how I can remove the update from the list? It looks like it's coming from the Mono Repo (see attached image).

    Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

    Try
    apt-get -f install
    apt-get dist-upgrade

    omv 7.0.5-1 sandworm | 64 bit | 6.8 proxmox kernel

    plugins :: omvextrasorg 7.0 | kvm 7.0.13 | compose 7.1.4 | k8s 7.1.0-3 | cputemp 7.0.1 | mergerfs 7.0.4

  • Here's the output and when I log back into OMV I have the same update still showing.

    What is the output of:

    apt-cache policy libgdiplus
    apt-get update

  • with the apt-get update the amount of text is too long to post here. But the phantom update is still listed

    You could put it in a file and attach it. I didn't expect apt-get update to fix but I needed to see the output. I would try manually installing the newer version.

    apt-get install libgdiplus=4.2-0xamarin3+debian7b1

    omv 7.0.5-1 sandworm | 64 bit | 6.8 proxmox kernel

  • Attached is the output from apt-get update

    Well, there is no libjpeg8 in the jessie repo or mono-project repo. Not sure what depends on it but post the output of: apt-cache rdepends libjpeg8

    omv 7.0.5-1 sandworm | 64 bit | 6.8 proxmox kernel

    plugins :: omvextrasorg 7.0 | kvm 7.0.13 | compose 7.1.4 | k8s 7.1.0-3 | cputemp 7.0.1 | mergerfs 7.0.4

    This is why I removed the mono-project repos from omv-extras. Takes too much time to figure out all of the mono dependencies. I guess I would remove all of the mono packages and re-install them.
