Since version 2 is about to expire, will version 3 run on a Raspberrypi 1 with the alternate php5-pam_1.0.3-2_armhf.deb installed?

Hi richprim
The upgrade on the Raspberry Pi 1 is not possible to blame
Raspbian underbody.
Since version 2 is about to expire
version 2.x isn't expiring. You can keep using it.
Ok good I can keep using it.
Still the question, can version 3 work on a PI 1 with the alternate php5-pam ?
Rich Prim
No

No
It should but I'm not going to compile it and I'm not putting plugins in an armel repo anymore. The RPi1 is just too underpowered.
Maybe you should upgrade to a Pi 3 which does not cost much and use your Pi 1 for another project.

If it's just about OMV buying an RPi 3 is just a waste of money. Any of the boards listed here is magnitudes faster (Gigabit Ethernet, USB2 without shared bandwidth, some even real SATA): https://sourceforge.net/projec…s/Other%20armhf%20images/
My favourite today: Banana Pi (M1, the oldest one with A20 SoC and SATA, don't buy any of the later models, they're all performing worse as NAS!).
Sure, there are bunch of better alternatives to a Pi (well not to the eatable one! )
My post was just a hint to think of giving up holding on to richprim's Pi 1.

Just a note:
We can´t found a case For The Banana Pi M1 That's included Hdd Like this
FreeCAD / Sketch Up, built one and print it yourself or let your local 3D printing service work for you.
I did that for a custom Pi3 Case with Hifi-Berry+Z-Wave sandwich on top of the Pi.
The print was 18 bucks ...

For 3D printing there's the rather perfect one: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:460603
I use wooden boxes or ABS plastic, drill in some holes, done.
Two more notes:
But we're getting off-topic here
Ok thank you gentle men for the info.
Just trying to finding a use for a couple of PI 1's that are laying around.

Hang them on the wall as art
Or create a Pi 1 super computing cluster

If it's really 1st generation (A or B) then I would do nothing with them since those waste energy for nothing (stupid LDO regulators for 3.3V on the board just transforming energy into heat).
If it's already B+ then those qualify IMO only for stuff that directly runs on the VideoCore VPU/GPU. We use them as IP cameras (doing all the h.264 encoding on the VC4) and some interesting work in this area just recently done: http://www.cnx-software.com/20…y-pi-3-raspberry-pi-zero/
Now we went really off-topic
