I've been using OMV as home NAS to serve my media and to download torrents (behind VPN via PIA) and everything works great. Powered by a raspi 2.
Looking to step up the game and plan to install Crashplan on it too, as a central, low powered backup centre for my other Crashplan computers.
Question is, do I need an upgrade hardware? I have a spare Intel NUC 5CPYH (Celeron N3050) that I can use, and it comes with gigabit LAN and usb 3. Figured its better than the ol raspi.
Basically it will still host and stream HD movies (I dont't need the movies to be backed up) and most importantly, accept incoming backups from my other CrashPlan PCs (home, work)
Can I just install CrashPlan? or do I have to install a Linux (Mint?) and install OMV on top of Mint?
