Problems setting up USB Backup

      Appreciate any help here....

      Here's what I have:
      Raspberry Pi3
      2 - USB Hard Drives (2TB each) connected to USB Power Hub
      OMV 3.0.63

      I installed OMV and setup a SMB/CIFS share and it works perfectly. I had originally tried to setup a RAID (Mirroring), but from reading some posts it seems using USB drives is in issue, so I figured I'd try the USB Backup.

      After I create the Backup I checked the log and it says the external device is not mounted. I see that both my USB drives are mounted under Storage>File System. Am I missing a step??

      I'm including some screen shots, but if more info is needed, please let me know....

    • USB Backup works like this:
      - when the USB drives are plugged in, they are monted and the backup job is started
      - when the job is finished the USB drives are un-mounted

      May be this helps you to understand the behaviour. But after the job the drives should be shown as not mounted in the GUI (at least that is the case on my system)
