Hey there,
So as the title states, I want to move from 2.2.14 to 3.0.86. I'm planning on creating a new VM for OMV and doing a clean install, restoring configs for services as I get them setup.
I don't anticipate any (read: a lot of) hassle from a lot of what I use (Transmission, CouchPotato, Plex, NFS) as I can just copy over my config folders/backups. What I'm wondering about is my SnapRAID/Mergerfs setup. I currently have scripts that reference the UUID of my MergerFS volume. From what I gather, I'll have to recreate my MergerFS volume on my fresh install. Would doing this create a new UUID for my pooled volume, thus requiring me to update my scripts?
Should I just clone my current install and do an upgrade?
I'm beginning to wonder if this is more hassle than it's worth.
Thanks for any help you can provide!
