Hi everyone!
I added a new RAID1 and a new HDD to my NAS and I noticed that they are placed in the folder /srv instead of /media.
Just for curioty: why that? Did I do something different or is just a new standard?
New media in /srv instead of /media

It is the new standard since OMV 3.0.68 (or so). Following standard rules.

This is describing which directory is supposed to be used for which data etc.

Cool, didn't know about that thanks for the explenation!

You can force the use of /media instead of /srv if you set this environment variable in
/etc/default/openmediavault
OMV_MOUNT_DIR="/media"
This will not change any existing mountpoints, you have to fix those by hand. But any new drives added will be mounted in /media instead of /srv.

It's not a problem I made some link so that I'll have more readble paths.
It was just curiosity -
I made some link so that I'll have more readble paths.
OMV 4.x fixes this and creates a bind mount at /sharedfolder/SHAREDFOLDERNAME for each shared folder. Works very well.

Cool! that's a good news!
