I just had a drive die that housed my plex library, i tried moving it to another disk, but that produced some errors (couldn't transcode anymore), so I wanted to reinstall plex with a new clean library.
I uninstalled it via the web interface, deleted the plex user (as per the plex uninstall instructions) and deleted the library folder in /var/lib.
But now when I try to reinstall it I get an error that the plex user doesn't exist (obviously, I thought the install would create it?) .
