    • ISO release frequency and release date

Thank's to ryecoaaron, i tried Vagrant ( viagra nt oupsss ) and OMv4.0.16 from GIThub

Unfortunately, I am suffering from network cut every 5 mns or so ... and sometimes VM is simply closing.

Concerning the OMV/GIT I notice all the commits and the new version numbers ... 4.0.17

After all the testing i made those last day, i am thinking more and more about using OMV4.0.14 on my new hardware...

So, i would like to ask three question ( pretty sure they lie somewhere in the forum :whistling: )

Q1: Concerning the OMV4.0.14 ISO, is there a frequency for releasing the update. Like GIT is V+2 and ISO v0 . Or is one ISO a month ... or whenever you have time in IRL life for such trivial activities :D

Q2: Concerning the UPDATE MANAGER button under system: is it used only to update package, or also OMV4.x In fact, i don't know ( newbee here ?( ) how to update from OMV.4.0.14 to OMV.4.0.16 even 4.0.17

Q3: the last ultimate stupid frequently asked numb question: is there a date for alpha release

    • 1 - The frequency isn't really important since you can update to the latest release in the updates tab.

2 - The updates tab has updates for OMV, plugins, and all installed OS packages.

3 - OMV 4.0.14 has been released and it is past alpha.

    • Thank you so much for your answer.

      Two more steps now:

      1. Make my mind about the new hardware Hardware advice.
      2. spent some "dineros" with the good merchant and built the beast.
