Hey guys,
Really need your advices.
So, I Asrock J3455 with 2 SATA ports, and I have 1 SATA SSD and 1 SATA HDD installed in my machine.
It means that I have to install system either to USB flash or to SSD.
I see such options to install OMV (3 or 4, doesn't matter):
- Direct install of OMV to flash drive. But there are some issues (link) because of bad compatibility non-UEFI systems.
- Install Debian Stretch to USB flash and install OMV4 on the top of Debian. But I don't know what about ramdrive, flash plugin in this case? Any ideas?
- Install OMV as a guest system with Virtual Box (the most preferable variant for me):
- After installation of Guest Additions I can share a folder from host with OMV
- if I choose "Automount" option, I see shared folder, but (of course) I can't see it in OMV. Screenshots attached.
- if I do not choose "Automount", I can't see it in OMV and I can't mount it via OMV. Maybe I do something wrong here?
Thanks!
