    • update error at webgui updatemanager / Failed to execute command ...

I upgrade ovm 2 to ovm 3.0.97 with a new installation. Everything went smoothly

Then I installed ovm-extras-org and activated stable ovm-extras-org repo, testing ovm-extras-org repo and plexmediaserver repo, because I want to have plexmediaserver, pyload and sabnzb.

Sabnzb wanted an new unrar, so I get an non-free package. Sorry, i dont’t know which and where. I was happy that sabnzb runs.

Now, I can’t update and I get the followingerror when I make manual update in the webgui.

      I did

      Source Code

      1. cat /etc/apt/sources.list.d/omv-extras-org.list
      and the respone

      Source Code

      1. # This is file is generated.
      2. # OMV-Extras repos
      3. #
      4. # OMV-Extras.org

On my search i found some solutions for similar erros. That the source.list shoud be edit. But my rudimentary knowledge of linux are not enough to get a solutions.

      Thanks for your help.
    • What is your problem? Which error do you get when? Which platform are you using.
Sorry for the bunch of question, but some information seem to be missing and the picture from OP is not available anymore.

And if you are actually upgrading from OMV2 to OMV3, the recommendation is to do a fresh install (of OMV4 by now). Sorry for that bad news. Take it as an opportunity ;)

    • thanks guys for the support

I'm on OMV4 fresh, it was working fine - updates and all, it just happens after a CPU change. I don't think it matters as the everything else is working fine.

      Be noted,
I had a DHCP IP before and everything was working fine as I mentioned above, but after the issue, I added a static IP with DNS, but it didn't help.

I get no errors at all, it's just the web interface that give me the error

I'm running an old PC with a 945GZM-S2 mother board, 2 GB DDR2 RAM and Intel E5200 dual core but it was not running with full speed as it was not supported by the mother board so change it to E4400 Core2 Duo, tested with windows and the performance is better.

      My problem

when I try to check for updates from the web interface, I get

Thanks again, I do appreciate any help as I'm new to OMV "not god with Linux in general", but I love it!
