Just an update, unfortunately with a fail
From my Raspberry Pi 2B+ I did the following BEFORE I plugged it in the Raspberry Pi 3B+:
- I made a backup of the SD card with `USB Image Tool` (http://www.alexpage.de/usb-image-tool/)
- apt-get update
- apt-get upgrade
- apt-get update (not sure if this was needed, just in case!)
- apt-get dist-upgrade (0 updates found)
- I rebooted to see if it was still working: yes it was working.
- I switched the SD card to the raspberry pi 3B+ and started the system.
result:
After the system booted, it has the wrong IP. When I log in to the system [using keyboard+monitor, so NO putty] it does nothing anymore.
