No Network Device, No IP, No eth0 Troubleshoot

    It was static for about a month, without any issues. It was set static within OMV GUI . Post 7 is a very old post I think. Running first aid comes up with the socket error as mentioned in a recent post.


    Will try again though.

    HI I'm kind of new in the linux world , and I had this same issue with OMV5 installed in a Raspberry pi. The way I found to solve it was this:


    1.- I created this file:

    sudo nano /etc/udev/rules.d/99-network.rules

    2,. I wrote this commands:

    SUBSYSTEM==”net”, ACTION==”add”, ATTR{address}==”YOUR:MAC:ADDRESS″, NAME=”eth0″


    Then I saved it and restarted the raspberry pi and it fix the problem.
